We love eating our nut butters straight out of the jar or dolloped in porridge. Here are some of our favourite recipes.

Quick and simple breakfast ideas for your toddlers

Overnight peanut butter oats

Ingredients

1/2 Cup of Milk (Full fat Cows milk or a dairy free alternatives
2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1 Tbsp Maple Syrup (or honey if they are over one)
1/2 Cup of Oats

Method

Mix all the ingredients together and leave overnight. Serve with chopped banana.

Quick and simple snack ideas for you toddlers

Cashew nut bliss balls

Ingredients

1/2 Cup Cashew Butter
1/2 Cup Dates
1/4 Cup Shredded Coconut (with a little extra for rolling)

Method

Blend all the ingredients together until they bind. Roll into balls using the extra shredded coconut. (Makes approx 12 balls).

Banana and Hazelnut & Cacao sandwiches

Ingredients

1 Banana
1 Tbsp. Hazelnut & Cacao Butter

Method

Slice the banana into rounds, spread one round with the hazelnut and cacao butter, put another round on top. Slice into halves.

Almond butter and Oat bars

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups of Oats
1 Cup Dates
1/2 Cup Almond Butter

Method

Roast the oats in the oven for 15 minutes at 170C. Place oats dates and almond butter in a blender, blend until they have mixed together, press into a dish and place in the fridge for a couple of hours. (makes approx 12 bars)
